Oxidised bitumen is used as an adhesive compound for built-up roof waterproofing systems on flat and pitched roofs to bond insulation and different layers of membrane on flat and pitched roofs. SBS bitumen is an elastomeric adhesive compound for use in built up felt roofing systems that complements the elastomeric properties of SBS modified membranes. Used to bond insulation and different layers of membrane it provides greater elongation, elasticity, low temperature flexibility, and toughness compared oxidised bitumen on flat and pitched roofs. Melted using a conventional bitumen boiler and applied using mops or squeegees it ensures that the whole system is compatible and provides a long term solution in all situations. Available in 20 kilo kegs.
